Cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure have become an increasing threat for Latin American governments and companies within the oil and gas, chemical and energy sectors. Although the attack frequency is increasing, companies are still reluctant to develop strategies to fight them. As cyber-attacks grow in sophistication, frequency and intensity, these companies are increasingly becoming high profile targets.
