ISE UK Awards call for nominations
An open call for nominations has been announced for the Information Security Executive (ISE) Awards gala, to take place in London, England, on 22 October.
Candidates may be put forward for the Information Security Executive and Project of the Year United Kingdom and Ireland Awards, and winners will be announced at the event, held this year at the Cumberland Guoman Hotel.
Nominees will attend the day-long event as complimentary guests, and will have the opportunity to participate in discussions prior to the ISE Awards Gala with other nominees and industry leaders, focusing on business issues, best practices and solutions.
A gourmet dinner buffet will be provided, trophies will be presented for outstanding achievements, and Infosecurity magazine will be attending to interview delegates for the November issue.
Colin Clark, 2007’s ISE UK and Ireland Project Awards winner, said of last year’s Awards Gala that it was “a totally new concept.” Clark, head of corporate business control for Somerfield Stores Ltd, commented that “In place of the normal ‘formal’ interaction with my peers, the event was held in a relaxed social atmosphere which resulted in a much more open style of communication that I found to be very useful. It is not often that an evening with a group of Information Security professionals can actually be called fun!”
There is no application fee. For more information or to put forward a nomination, visit http://www.infosecaward.com.
