Apple iOS 4.3.2 update available, with security fixes

Available to download for Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, the update includes bug fixes for FaceTime, 3G network connectivity and some security issues.

An issue with Apple's video call application, FaceTime, occasionally caused devices to freeze. Another bug meant some users struggled to connect to local 3G networks through the iPad's Wi-Fi and 3G capability.

Security updates include improvements to the certificate trust policy and greater protection against malicious websites in WebKit.

Apple released the latest version of iOS 4.3 in March 2011. Security firm, Sophos, claimed the update left Apple's iPhone 3G device vulnerable to security attacks.

The 4.3.2. download is available via iTunes on a Macintosh or PC computer. The 10.1 or later version of iTunes is required.
