Infosecurity adds Cloud Security Alliance as latest blog contributor

The cloud – it’s a topic that has received much attention in the IT security industry over the past few years. Still, many questions remain around what exactly is “the cloud”, how secure it is, and where to find more educational resources for security professionals?

This thirst for knowledge on the topic has led Infosecurity to partner with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), as the world-class non-profit organization – formed to promote use of best practices for providing security assurance within cloud computing – will now be featured as the newest blogger on the magazine’s websites.

“The CSA’s aim is to educate users of cloud computing services on how they can do so in the most secure manner”, said Drew Amorosi, US bureau chief of Infosecurity. “It is in this spirit that Infosecurity is eager to provide the CSA with this venue to bring to our readers the latest and most informative viewpoints regarding cloud security, so they can apply this knowledge within their own roles.”

“The CSA is amassing a great body of knowledge, with experts from around the world, focused on every aspect of cloud security, contributing to our work,” added Jim Reavis, executive director of the CSA. “We are pleased to partner with Infosecurity magazine to help share the latest thoughts, trends, and issues around cloud security as we continue to work toward our goal of promoting the use of best practices for providing security assurance within cloud computing, and provide education on the uses of cloud computing to help secure all other forms of computing.”

Infosecurity invites readers to check out the CSA’s blog, which is already providing some highly informative insights. We encourage you to sign up for our blogs using the RSS feed, so updates are automatically delivered to your news reader.
