Wick Hill's National Security Survey: Win Prizes and Gain insight

There’s still time to take part in the Wick Hill National Security Survey 2014, with the opportunity to win prizes and learn what other IT professionals are thinking and doing about security. The aim of the survey is to better understand the security concerns and needs of companies today, and how to meet them in 2015.

Everyone who takes part will receive a mobile PowerBank or a donation to charity will be made on their behalf. A copy of the report will be sent to participants, and will help give a valuable insight into how others are tackling security issues, what their priorities are, and how they see the future developing. No names are mentioned in the report, so replies are entirely confidential.

The survey consists of questions about current business needs and requirements. Topics include general security risks and concerns for businesses, both now and in the future. Other topics such as remote access, advanced persistent threats (APTs), endpoint security, data management and data leakage, internal security and encryption are all covered in the survey.

Prizes

Support and sponsorship from some of the biggest names in network security allow Wick Hill to offer some exceptional prizes, awarded in a unique ongoing way so that participants don’t have to wait for months to win something.

Prizes on offer:

  • Beats by Dre Headphones
  • GoPro Cameras
  • Sonos Play HiFi systems
  • Parker Duofold pen

If entrants take the opportunity to donate to charity, they can select from the Syrian Refugee Appeal, Transform Housing or MacMillan Cancer Care.

Wick Hill’s marketing director, Barry Mattacott, said: “Because all participants will get a copy of the report, it’s a great opportunity for IT security professionals to learn more about what their peers are doing and thinking in the face of today’s rapidly changing and increasingly challenging network environment. We are expecting some fascinating results and it will be really interesting to see how recent developments such as the growth of BYOD and the explosion of wireless are being tackled by businesses. Plus, of course, there’s the opportunity to win some great prizes.”
