ISACA unveils new audit programs

30 August 2010

The non-profit society for IT professionals has taken the wraps off four new audit programs for cloud computing, crisis management, information security management, and Active Directory management.

ISACA said the new programs will provide audit and IT assurance professionals with the most recent and relevant guidance on the four topics, which can be used by security and business professionals alike.

The new ISACA audit programs will cover:

  • Cloud computing – covering governance over cloud computing, the relationship between the service provider and customer, and specific control issues
  • Crisis management – focusing on pre-crisis planning; plan scope, relevance, probability, and appropriate responses; and plan testing, maintenance, and alignment with business risks
  • Information security management – featuring governance, policy, monitoring, incident management, implementing security configurations, and selecting security technologies
  • Windows Active Directory – covering Active Directory management, Secure Active Directory boundaries, secure domain controllers, physical security of the domain controllers, configuration settings, and secure administrative practices

Each audit program is available for free to ISACA members, or a $45 fee for non-members.
