Infosecurity Magazine’s 2009 Virtual Conference on Information Security on 24 September will discuss if organisations are sacrificing their security in order to make cost-saving or whether the information security vendors in fact are benefiting from the recession and the fear of the consequences of a security breach.

John Colley, managing director at (ISC)2, Howard Schmidt, president at the ISF, and John Bridgen, senior vice president EMEA, Symantec, will analyse how the information security industry is coping in the economic downturn.

They will also give advice on how organisations can stay secure – without breaking the bank.
