The last 10 years have seen a fundamental shift in the ways we work, mostly driven by a desire for work/life balance and the increasing effectiveness of the web and its applications. So how might we be working in 2020? It’s never too early to start thinking about what the future may hold.

Theoretical physicist and City University of New York professor Michio Kaku predicted that by 2020, computer chips would cost about a penny each to produce, meaning that same computational technology we employ in our devices today will be “everywhere and nowhere”, a phenomenon he described as “the networking of the world”.

This webinar will look at what workers in the future can expect, and how security professionals can prepare enterprises for trends like “social technology” and “serious play” while still keeping networks fast and safe.

This webinar will discuss:

  • How to deal with change that’s driven by user demand
  • As technology pervades so do threats, how can we enable “crowdsecuring”
  • The growing importance of identity and access management in a “networked world”
  • What could working anywhere on any device wherever we are, really look like
