Description:

The need to protect data is paramount for companies today, as recent data breaches in the UK have shown how damaging it can be for organisations if they are not careful handling either an employee’s personal information, or a customer’s account and credit card numbers. Well known high street brands such as Marks and Spencer, Nationwide Building Society, TK Maxx and the Halifax are amongst those who have suffered from the problem of lost, unencrypted laptops. In the case of Nationwide, this resulted in a fine of nearly £1million from FSA.

Many transactions and communications are encrypted, yet the public may not know or understand when they are protected, or
realise when they are not. What is the solution? Encryption is a key part of ensuring confidential and personal data can be protected.

This Webinar will:

  • Demonstrate how encryption is an essential part of any enterprise data protection strategy
  • Report on the latest technological advances in encryption
  • Provide best practices regarding when and where touse encryptiom
  • Address common misconceptions surrounding encryption
