Raef’s operational roles have included Global Security and Privacy Program Director at a FTSE 100 company, design of the AdaptiveGRC governance, risk and compliance SaaS software platform as well as interim CISO work.

He currently spends most of his time researching, writing cybersecurity related publications, presenting at conferences and providing operational cybersecurity gap analysis for CISOs and CEOs.  His most recent work is an ISACA governance publication on enterprise information technology in the healthcare sector due for release later this year.  Ironically and by pure coincidence, the draft was completed on the same day that the WannaCry NHS incident occurred.
