Peter Wood to present at FaceTime webinar on Tuesday

Also presenting will be Chris Boyd (aka Paperghost), director of research with FaceTime Security Labs and Nick Sears, vice president of EMEA for the Web 2.0 security vendor.

Wood's presentation will include details of how Web 2.0-driven technologies such as wikis, blogs, instant messaging and IPTV - to mention but a few - now pose a serious threat to the security of company IT resources.

Cross-referencing information from security luminary Bruce Schneier, Wood will talk about Linked-In and Twitter from a hacker's perspective, as well as the dangers of cross-site scripting attacks and cross-site request forgery attacks.

Wood, who is also an ISACA conference committee member, is well known in IT security circles and has industry experience dating back to the 1980s.

There will be an open Q&A session in the final third of the event at which attendees can ask their IT security questions of the panel.
