RSA joins Open Compliance and Ethics Group

Announcing the move late yesterday at the 2010 Compliance Week conference in Washington, RSA officials said that, with the acquisition of Archer Technologies in January, the company "demonstrated its strong commitment to strategic, efficient and sustainable enterprise GRC solutions that span IT, finance, operations and legal business domains."

As an OCEG charter member, RSA says it plans to participate in the leadership and technology councils and help guide the GRC capability model, bringing to bear the collective vision of the Archer eGRC community, whose membership includes more than 3800 GRC professionals.

David Walter, director of eGRC solutions at RSA said: "OCEG is a recognized leader in providing GRC standards, guidelines and assessment procedures, and we look forward to offering those resources to our clients."

"We're also excited to bring the voice of the Archer community to the OCEG technology Council. Our active membership of GRC clients, partners and product experts is helping to shape the vision for enterprise GRC technology innovation", he added.

"We believe the influence of this community will provide great value to OCEG."
