Karsten Geise is ADVA Optical Networking’s director of Ethernet global business development, running the infrastructure access business segment. This includes secure connectivity applications, including OTN and advanced MACsec encryption, performance-oriented multi-hop designs for enterprises and service providers as well as virtual-hosted encryption and key exchange functions. He has worked closely with many carriers throughout the world, advising on technology trends and how service provider networks can operate in an efficient, secure and cost-optimized manner.
