How will you ensure my safety at Infosecurity Magazine events, and what precautions against COVID-19 are you taking?
Your safety and your business are our priorities, we are constantly reviewing the Government guidelines to be able to deliver safe events for all.
Registration
Please make sure you register and bring along your event registration confirmation email confirming your place at the event. Admission will be strictly by confirmed registration in advance only and details may be used for contact tracing if necessary. If for any reason you're unable to attend the event do let us know as soon as possible so that we can give your place to someone on the waiting list.
Should the authorities require us to collect any personal data specifically in relation to COVID-19, we will only keep that data for the minimum period required by the authority. Our Privacy policy is available here.
Stay Home If You Are Unwell
All guests are encouraged to check you are feeling well before attending our events. Please ensure that you are in good health, with no fever or other symptoms related to COVID-19, before travelling to the venue. For extra protection, we will be temperature checking all of our attendees upon arrival.
On Arrival
Please have your event confirmation email ready on your smartphone. If that is not possible, a printed version is acceptable.
Face Coverings
Following government guidelines, face coverings are no longer mandatory and wearing a face covering at our events will be entirely personal choice. We will have face coverings available on the day should you require one.
Physical Distancing
Increased spacing will be in place throughout our events, so that you can enjoy the event content whilst maintaining a safe distance. Seating will be set up to enable safe practices and should not be moved.
Hygiene
Hand sanitisers will be readily available at our events. Please continue to follow guidance and wash your hands frequently.
When Meeting
Avoid shaking hands and exchanging physical business cards or literature. We recommend using the various contact sharing apps that are available and where suitable but do not endorse or supply any particular app for this purpose.
Venue Facilities
Cloakroom facilities, if available due to COVID-19 restrictions, may be with limited space so we encourage you to bring as little with you as possible.
Cleaning
We will maintain the highest standards of cleaning before during and after the event. Including frequent cleaning of all regularly touched surfaces, seating in conference areas and meeting places.
Food and Beverage
Where catering is included at an event all food and beverages will be prepacked and should be disposed of using provided bins when no longer wanted.
