On the back of its parent reporting robust results for the second quarter of 2015, Kudelski Security has announced a partnership with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS).

AGCS is the Allianz Group's dedicated carrier for corporate and specialty insurance business for whom Kudelski will now provide incident response services to AGCS customers in case of a cyber- breach, a service that is part of AGCS´s dedicated insurance solution for cyber and IT risks.

The partnership with Kudelski Security—covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland—includes initial incident response customer on-boarding, or pre-incident preparation, and cyber-incident response and support, from incident evaluation, investigation, containment, to remediation strategy. Kudelski Security will also assist AGCS clients by evaluating their organization's ability to detect and respond to cyberattacks as well as supporting them should an incident arise. If a cyber-incident materializes, Kudelski Security will assign a multi-disciplinary cybersecurity emergency response team to cope with the attack.

This partnership brings together Kudelski Security’s cybersecurity expertise and Allianz Cyber Protect insurance to provide services to benefit clients of both companies. The solution has been available since 2013 offering large corporate accounts a suite of three insurance products to address various first and third party liability losses that can arise from a serious cyber-attack or data breach.

“With their experience and extensive know-how of the IT security industry, Kudelski Security provides our customers with professional and fast services in case of a privacy or security breach,” said Jens Krickhahn, Central and Eastern Europe Practice Leader for Fidelity, Cyber and PI at AGCS. “This incident response management approach generates added value for both our clients and us as insurer.”
