Malcolm has been working in the technology space for 20 years but has been interested in the subject from an early age, assembling his own PCs and fiddling with electronics as a teenager. Starting his career in more technical roles such as systems administration and analysis, he later specialised in Information Security, which he still does today leading the Information Security function and strategic direction as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at fintech startup, Coinflow. He has experience leading information security teams in different regulated and non-regulated industries and building out information security and data protection functions from the ground up. Outside of security leadership, Malcolm is also passionate about mental health awareness running a local online support portal. He also enjoys spending down-time with his family and friends, listening to and making music, and exploring the world with his wife and daughters.
