Widely recognized as ""the godfather of Israeli cybersecurity,"" Shlomo has a stellar track record as a high-tech investor and entrepreneur. He co-founded Check Point Software Technologies in 1993, the pioneers of the first commercial firewall, and Imperva in 2002, the innovator of the web application firewall.

Driven by his vision that the future of enterprise networking and security lies in a cloud-native platform, Shlomo co-founded Cato Networks in 2015. With Shlomo as the CEO from the company's inception, Cato has become the leader in the network security evolution known as secure access service edge (SASE). Today, Cato delivers a unified networking and security platform to more than 4,000 enterprises globally.

Shlomo’s early investments in successful enterprise software companies like Palo Alto Networks, Trusteer, and Gong highlight his keen eye for emerging tech trends.

Shlomo holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
