Mike Nichols is GM of Security at Elastic, where his mission is customer success. A product strategist and cybersecurity veteran, Mike's path began on the battlefield as a Military Intelligence Sergeant and Paratrooper in the US Army, where his analysis kept troops safe during complex combat operations.

His 20-year career has since focused on product leadership for cutting-edge security solutions, and as a product pioneer and experienced military-civilian analyst, including with the Department of Homeland Security SOC. A former Cybersecurity Strategy Instructor at Georgetown University, Mike remains a passionate advocate for arming the next wave of security professionals.
