Infosecurity Magazine Presents: New Virtual Conference Format

Written by

This Autumn, the Infosecurity Virtual Conference is getting a facelift. Our hugely popular virtual events have been running incredibly successfully – twice a year – for almost a decade now, but there’s always room for improvement and we’re not ones to just coast or play it safe – we’re committed to making all the content we produce as easy to digest and as brilliant as possible.

The conference program is written by our editorial team so it’s always current and totally aligned with what’s going on at the heart of the industry.

So what’s new? We’re diversifying the format of our content sessions. Rather than panel after panel, we’re mixing things up, producing some shorter sessions, some with just one speaker and the brand-new debate session.

Why? We know you’re all incredibly busy with your day jobs and you may not have time to dedicate an entire day to our virtual conference. At our last two events, the average attendee spent approximately five hours in our virtual environment, so we know you love spending time with us… but we know you may have meetings or deadlines and therefore need to dip in and out of our platform. The new format gives you more flexibility and the ability to choose the type of content you want to tune in to. Although, of course, we hope you’ll choose it all.

When I launched our very first virtual event all those years ago it was with the objective of delivering all that traditional conferences offer – education, networking and continued learning credits – but directly to our readers’ desks, with all the value but none of the travel costs. That objective still rings true, but the virtual events now offer even more: community. Our readers come back again and again to catch up with each other and with the latest research and practical guidance that they need to do their jobs.

We hope you love our new virtual conference and we can’t wait to welcome you through the virtual doors in September. As always, we want to hear from you about what you like, what you don’t like and what you want more of. So don’t be shy, get in touch
