Neel Rana is a Master's graduate from the University of Liverpool.

"My interest in Information Security emerged from my third year dissertation project topic. During this dissertation, I researched in depth about Steganography and Steganalysis within the digital forensics field which I found very interesting. Shortly after, I started researching on different concepts within Information Security where at this point, I knew that I wanted a career within this industry.

"Whilst studying my master's year, I studied modules such as Machine Learning, Optimisation, Data Mining and Visualisation along with Privacy and Security. These modules were some of the most interesting ones that I had studied and thus I was inspired to combine the idea of Machine Learning with Security for my final year dissertation project. Although this project was challenging, I really enjoyed working on it and learning new concepts."
