Nicholas Cooper is an established security leader and board advisor, with deep experience in both cyber and information security across public and private sectors.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec), a professional member of the British Computer Society (BCS), and holds both Chartered Cyber Security Professional, and Chartered IT Professional status.

In addition, he has an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, and a number of industry qualifications.

Nicholas is currently Group Director of Information Security at a global digital healthcare company, and serves on multiple executive boards.

He is an advisory board member for Cyber Governance for Boards (CxB), and a Founding Member/Advisory Board Member for the AI and Cyber Security Association (AICSA).

Previously he has held roles such as CISO, Director of Cyber Security, and VP Security at a number of companies across various sectors.

As well as his industry work, Nicholas is also an industry conference speaker, academic lecturer, commercialisation mentor with Business Innovate UK's CyberASAP Scheme, and a mentor in the cybersecurity community.
