National Cyber Skills Centre Hosts Inaugural Cyber Event

Featuring a packed programme of debates, panel discussions and workshops, the half-day event is open to businesses, both large and small, and will provide a unique networking opportunity for business owners from across the country.

Debbie Tunstall, manager of the NCSC, said: “We are delighted to have secured the participation of some sector specialists, including Deep Secure, QinetiQ, CISCO, BAE Systems, Hewlett Packard, IASME, e-skills UK and the High Tec Crime Police Training Unit, to name a few.

“They will join the panel and run workshops aimed at helping businesses identify the cyber issues that affect them and, using case studies, demonstrate how best to protect themselves against threats to their digital data.”

The NCSC is based at the Malvern Hills Science Park, at the heart of Malvern’s Cyber Valley. It was set up to ensure that businesses and organisations that need assistance with conducting and administering their business on-line get the help and support they need.

Businesses can register for the event online by visiting www.eventbrite.co.uk and searching for National Cyber Skills Centre.
