David is an economist turned serial entrepreneur in space, quantum and cyber security, the companies he founded are worth more than $500m. He founded and led Avanti, Arqit and now leads FIOR and initiated two venture capital projects called Seraphim Space and Quantum Exponential.
At Avanti he was the first entrepreneur outside America to ever launch a geostationary satellite into space, in 2010.
FIOR, created in 2025 is an Enforcement Layer for AI. Using a new patented authentication protocol it assigns a unique quantum safe identity to every AI agent and uses that to govern what the agent can do before it acts. 3 months after launch it has already announced contracts with companies like Multiverse Computing and Oracle.
