With a wide array of events taking place thorughout the day, attendees can be assured of gaining access to a wealth of information on a variety of endpoint-related topics.
Smartphones will be covered by a webinar entitled `Defending against the smartphone security threat' at which ISACA specialist Dr Eugene Schultz, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information Security Manager will be joined by Chandra Tekwani, vice president of mobile security for Cloudmark, to discuss the many security issues that the latest mobiles present IT staff.
A second webinar - entitled 'Effective integration of end point security into legacy corporate IT security systems' - will see Hord Tipton, former CIO of the Department of the Interior and John Pironti, a member of ISACA's education board, discussing how to plan and deploy good end point security into a legacy corporate IT system.
Biometrics also forms a central topic at the conference, with Ariel Friedenberg, executive vice president of Persay joined by Dan Miller, senior analyst and founder of Opus Research, presenting at a webinar entitled `Integrating cost-effective biometrics into the modern IT security mix.'
Central to the discussion will be how this rapidly maturing technology can be integrated into the increasingly diverse IT security environment that larger companies are deploying.
These are just three of a series of informative and educational webinars planned for the conference.
Hosted by Eleanor Dallaway, Infosecurity's editor and Steve Gold, the magazine's techical editor, the all-day conference promises to be a worthwhile event that attendees can dip and out of as they wish, all from the comfort of their own desk.
