End point security webinar scheduled for Tuesday

Fran Howarth, a senior security analyst with Bloor Research, will be setting the scene with an explanation of the new generation of threats that effect organisations' end point security, and how network perimeters are changing, making the task of IT resource protection even more difficult than previously thought.

Alan Boardman, a data security officer with Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, will be detailing how his trust has successfully deployed Absolute Software's Computrace technology for 4000 IT users across more than 150 sites.

Geoff Glave, a product manager with webinar sponsor Absolute Software, meanwhile, will be rounding out the presentations with an overview of his firm's IT security solutions, and setting the scene for an informative Q&A session in which attendees will be invited to ask questions on the topics at hand.

The event is moderated by Infosecurity's technical editor Steve Gold, who says that the webinar promises to be an interesting one, as it has the views of an analyst, as well as a senior IT security officer within the NHS, who will both be able to give their independent views on how effective end point security works.

"Geoff Glave, meanwhile, has given a number of these presentations before, so his insight on this topical issue will be invaluable for attendees, who will also be able to ask questions from a highly experienced panel of presenters", said Gold.
