TeleSign has announced the formation of a new partnership with BehavioSec, with the aim of adding further capabilities to the organization’s mobile identity solutions for securing end-user accounts, preventing fraud and delivering continuous user verification and assurance.
The agreement will see TeleSign use BehavioSec technology, which observes and assesses keystrokes, mouse movements and touch-based input on mobile devices to enhance existing verification solutions.

With the security risks surrounding the digital world becoming ever-greater, passwords are becoming less effective in protecting online and mobile accounts. To combat this, Telesign and BehavioSec plan to bring the next generation of authentication to the market by combining identity assessment layers and leveraging rich identity data.
Bob Tarzey, Analyst and Director of Quocirca Ltd., spoke to InfoSecurity of the positives the new partnership will bring and said that although BehavioSec has been around for some time “it should find the time is ripe for its technology” to be implemented on a wider scale.
It [BehavioSec] provides an additional layer of authentication by providing an understanding of how users interact with their devices. This is very hard to mimic but relies on no real proactivity from the users themselves. It is good to see another Europe-based security vendor getting a strong endorsement from a significant organization such as TeleSign.”
