ISACA seminar to address cloud security issues

According to the association, which has more than 95,000 members worldwide, the online event will share guidance on implementing a cloud strategy, with an emphasis on security and compliance issues.

The seminar - entitled 'Cloud Security Delivery Imperatives 2011' - will be free to members and non-members alike, and will feature Giles Hogben, network security policy expert with the European Network & Information Security Agency (ENISA), who will discuss cloud security in the European landscape.

Also taking part will be Vladimir Jirasek, senior enterprise security architect at Nokia, and communications director with the Cloud Security Alliance UK and Ireland.

Announcing the online event, Emil D'Angelo, ISACA's international president, said that cloud computing is now on the cover of magazines and at the top of business leaders' minds.

"ISACA's virtual conference will help attendees weigh the security concerns and use cloud computing in a way that maximises value delivery and manages risk", he said.
